[skin concerns] Dark spots (not PIH or acne related) randomly appeared on my skin. What are they and how do I go about getting rid of them?

Hi!In the 2-3 of weeks I've seen about 5 dark spots (here's a picture http://imgur.com/a/JweFM) appear on my face out of nowhere! They have no texture - no bump or anything - just feels like regular skin but with a small dark brown / black mark.Are these age spots due to sun exposure? I always use sunscreen on my face when I step out during the day! My skincare routine is really simple and I haven't changed it in a while.AM - Cleanser followed by a moisturizer with spf 30 PM - Cleanser followed by Cerave PM.Any idea what these could be? :(Thanks for your help!
