[Skin Concerns] Skin in armpits and groin are 'spongy' or 'less taut', having trouble figuring out what this is or if it is normal.

Beauty Tips For Body Care
For several years now, in my armpits and upper inner thighs my skin has felt 'different'. My goal for this post is to find out:a name/description my dermatologist would understand,if it is treatableif it's just something 'normal' that most people don't bother dealing withSymptoms:It slightly itchesIt is slightly redIt looks very normal, I could post pictures if it would help, but the change in color is hardly noticeable. It feels very different from the rest of my skin. It's been too long to know if it smells different than 'normal BO'The best way I can describe it is if I drag my fingers along my skin, they will catch in these areas. They aren't sticky or sweaty, they just feel 'spongy' or 'soggy'. There isn't anything on the surface of my skin, the skin itself is what feels different. Doesn't matter if I've just showered, same results. My best guess for a cause is these areas are where I sweat a lot, and have skin touching/rubbing a lot. I think the constant contact with sweat/skin has caused this.I can't think of how to describe it well enough to find similar conditions on the internet, and when I tried to explain to my dermatologist she definitely did not know what I was talking about. She recommended me dove deodorant for sensitive skin, which I'm using, but it's too early to tell any difference & leaves my thighs with the problem still. If anyone recognizes what this could be I'd love suggestions. Or if you've had the same thing and found treatment or were able to explain it to your dermatologist.
