[miscellaneous] I work in healthcare. We stock a zinc oxide & lanolin lotion EVERYWHERE. Should I try it on my face?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I work in healthcare and at any given time there are multiple tubes of "zinc oxide & lanolin cream" in the area that I work. We put though a lot of patients a day which equals a ton of sanitizer and hand washing which can be hard on the hands, we use this to counteract that. Anyways I have been using this cream for years and absolutely love it. It doesn't have a full ingredient list but says "contains zinc oxide and lanolin" on the back. It is unscented and meant for medical use. On occasion if I open a new tube of this stuff I also put it on my lips and it is amazing, and it doesn't look oily at all when its on your hands. It has a thick lotion consistency. I'm new to skincare addiction but have read about both of these ingredients (particularly zinc oxide but also on occasion lanolin) being used on the face. Zinc oxide seems to be helpful for acne prone skin and people seem to like lanolin as an ingredient (if they aren't allergic to it). I was using this cream today and suddenly thought, I wonder if I should try this on my face? I'm going to try locate a full ingredient list for it first and check that out, but if I am unable I am still tempted to try it out for a week or so just to see if I like it. It is meant for our use as nurses so nobody would have an issue with me using it on my face at the beginning of shift. Thoughts? Would you give it a shot?
