[Skin Concern] Redness on corners of mouth, possibly from physical exfoliation. Date tonight, panicking a little

Beauty Tips For Body Care
ImageDermatologist recently put me on tretinoin and BP, and recommended I use both salicylic acid wipes and a loofa. I was warned both of those came with a risk of severe dryness, which usually manifests around the corners of my mouth, where you see the redness. I don't use the sal acid, because it burns. What would the quickest way to get rid of the redness be? I'm moisturizing now with Cetaphil daily advance ultra hydrating lotion but with little results in 36 hours. Not entirely sure about my skin type as it seems to change. Sorry.
