Beauty Tips For Body Care
After 9 long years my Acne has been reduced to nothing but clear skin. (Well not really, but no more acne!)I have been acne free for 4 months now! Here's what I did.It all started with a small zit on my nose when i was 10. From then on it formed into full on nodular acne.I went through 3 courses of Accutane. Swallowed over 1000s of pills. They did work, but only for the duration of the medication. My Dermatologist, told me the medication has a 79% success rate, and the success rate increases as you take more courses. I had 3 courses done. So i have 3, 7 month courses. Which was horrible took a big toll on my skin as accutane was not friendly to skin also. After my acne came back for the 3rd time after my accutane, i felt so defeated and lost.I took it into my own hands and looked online for home remedies and other methods to get rid of acne, or at least reduce the inflammation of it.It took me a while to figure out why i was having so much acne.My dermatologist didn't really give a crap about my skin, he just gave me pills and hoped it worked. So i went through the 3 MOST important thing that effect acne.Cleanliness of skin.Stress, and Hormones.Personal health.1.Everyday, i would wash my skin gently with cleanser and treat it after with good lotions, to make sure my skin was hydrated. Been doing this for many years, tried different methods. Nope acne still came back just as strong but less inflamed.Asked myself was work or school too much for me to handle or was it other things. It can be testosterone or hormones depending on who you are. I told myself it was stress, again and again. But i couldn't do much about it since i had to go to school and work. Summer came around, i was out of school and had no work, there was nothing for me to worry about. I had a great summer, stress free almost. Acne still came back. Here is when i gave up from fighting it from the outside, and focuses on the inside. Now you see, the main issue with acne is that, your pores gets clogged, and your skin can't push it out properly, so it gets inflamed and thus causing acne. So i read some articles on how a diet can change your skin's health. At first i took it was total completely baloney.Since I had nothing to lose but to try it i did. Here is what I did. And why it worked.During my school year, I NEVER drank water in school. Not because i couldn't because i wasn't thirsty. Water is a HUGE factor to helping your skin get refreshed. Water helps your skin renew it's cells and get rid of dirty stuff stuck in your pores.after reading the article, I would try to drink a bottle of water before i leave, and 2 bottles while i am in school. Even if it didn't work there could be no harm done. Not only did i not drink enough water. I wasn't getting enough of other Vitamins and minerals that i needed. I am not a fan of fruits.I didn't eat a lot of fruits growing up because I just didn't like the section i had. Now everyday I would eat two of ANY fruit. But usually i stick to oranges because oranges have tons of Vitamin C.After about 2 weeks for just drinking water, and eating good fruits. My skin started to clear up. I was surprised that it has an effect.I kept this up for 4 months. instead of fighting it from the outside with lotions, ointments and other stuff. I took a different route and tried something new, which i never did before. If you guys are worried that your Acne might be permanent, don't worry. You guys have to try again and again till you find something. You have nothing to lose if you try. It will only get better, if you try. Thanks for reading.TL; DR- Had Acne for 9 years. Tried to change my diet and it helped. Eat a lot of healthy fruits that had good vitamins and drank tons of water.Sorry for the bad grammar, did this on my tablet at work.
