[Acne] Is it okay to refuse a dermatologist's specific recommendation of a cream or drug?

So my dermatologist prescribed isotretinion and other creams and stuff. She told me to buy the creams and drug from her but I was thinking of buying these from other pharmacies. Would my decision be okay or am making a mistake?
