[acne] Is this normal? Trying to treat a fungal infection

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hello SCA,I believe I have a fungal acne on my face and I've been trying to treat it using Head and Shoulders shampoo. A month ago, I used a new face oil for the first time (safflower oil) and my skin started to break out in very tiny little bumps (I stopped using it obviously). Now, I have several patches on my face that are red and flaky as well as having many clusters of small red zits that don't have a head. It has come up in areas of my face where I never normally get acne. I haven't been to a doctor yet but from research on this sub it seems to me like it is almost definitely a fungal thing (came after using oil, the flakiness, deviation from my normal acne, etc.)Anyway, I bought some Head & Shoulders and started washing my face with it. It's been two days of using it. I haven't noticed that the bumps have gone away, but the red flaky patches have definitely gotten flakier and it burns a little to use the shampoo on my face.Literally just making this post to see if anyone has experience with this and to make sure that I'm not being a big idiot or anything. It's only been two days so I don't want to make the call too fast but nothing seems better, and while it hasn't spread any more it definitely has gotten more dry and flaky. Does it generally take longer to see an effect from a mild anti-fungal like H&S?For context, I have pretty persistent acne that is more or less controlled right now with spironolactone and retin-a every night. I've been living in Spain this year and the change has caused some breakouts hence trying out the oil. Thanks for any help y'all :D
