My OBGYN wants to put me on a hormonal IUD or other hormonal birth control to stop my period because it's absolutely miserable for me. I have pretty good skin, except for on my period, where my chin totally dies and I get ridiculously stubborn acne that nothing will fix! One example is, I didn't get my period for about 5 or 6 months and I've had acne that hasn't gone away on my chin for about 2 weeks now, when normally my period acne lasts maybe 4 or 5 days after my period, maximum. If you've had hormonal birth control, what BC did you have and did it make acne better or worse? How'd you deal with the acne? Does it let up after awhile?
