ImgurIn November, I lurked here looking for a solution to my months long battle with closed comedones on my forehead. My self-esteem was tanking and I needed help. After getting on the pill my skin no longer behaved. My routine was throwing on my favorite foundation (Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation SPF 15), sleeping in it, and washing it off in the shower, repeat. It was no longer working.From November on I haven't used the foundation and started using EltaMD UV Physical Broad-Spectrum SPF 41 everyday, after the first week I added Cosrx Bha Blackhead Power Liquid underneath everyday, and rinsing with water at night. In the past few weeks I have been experimenting. I no longer get CC's so long as I am using that Cosrx regularly, (~2 times per week) underneath EltaMD. Now my only gripe is that the EltaMD alone is clearly drying, it has caused some flaky skin on my collarbone and is overall very drying to my face (note wrinkling of forehead in after picture). I live in the SW of the US so I need a nice SPF but I'm thinking of adding a moisturizer underneath it all.Hope this is helpful,Peace Homeslices.
