[B&A] [Fixed] 4 months and 4 prescriptions later, I can finally post this! Routine inside.

Beauty Tips For Body Care
https://imgur.com/gallery/RapwO(Sorry for the dead link before, was trying to figure out how to take my pictures out of the imgur gallery....there's some serious weirdos on the internet)I've always dealt with acne since middle school. My skin is on the dry/sensitive side and my acne was mostly hormonal. I had switched to a new moisturizer which, in hindsight, made it 100× worse than ever (Elta MD PM, if you're curious). I realize now that products with lots of silicones (or are occlusive in general, like Aquaphor/Vaseline) break me out like no other.I finally caved and spent the money on a dermatologist and I'm so grateful for her help. She got me started on a routine, which included doxycycline, Ortho Tri Cyclen, Adapalene (Differin), and Aczone. I quit the doxycycline after a month because I don't think it helped much. It took a while but at about the 3 month mark my skin was finally clear. My routine is now as follows:AM:-Rinse with water and konjac sponge-Apply Aczone and wait 10 minutes-Cerave Moisturizing LotionPM:-Micellar water (Garnier, pink cap) with cotton ball to remove makeup (this stuff is awesome).-Wash with Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Hydrating Moisturizer and konjac sponge-Apply The Ordinary Azelaic Acid 10% (I love this, I think it's really helped to brighten my skin and lighten the PIE)-Buffer a small amount of Adapalene .3% with Cerave Moisturizing Lotion. Then moisturize like my life depends on it. I use the Cerave in the tub around my eyes.I attribute most of my success to the Adapalene and Aczone combination, and birth control of course to keep my hormones in check. Hope this helps someone out there, I know it seems like a long road but it feels so great to see results. Patience is key!
