[Miscellaneous] Question about acids and product pHs

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hi r/SCA! I was falling asleep last night when I had one of those weird lightbulb thoughts. I know that some acid toners (for example the Pixi Glow Tonic) supposedly have a pH that is too high, rendering them ineffective. So... hypothetically, could you make the product more effective by altering the pH yourself? Maybe by adding a little bit of apple cider vinegar to bring the pH of the product down to a 3-4 range? I'm not saying I am going to do this, just wondering if it would even work from a chemistry perspective.
