[Product Question] Finished A light dose of accutane about three months ago and now experiencing considerable hair loss, I'm really scared about this and need some advice!

I did a course of 40mg and finished up around Christmas. My course lasted around four months and never had any problems whilst on the drug. I asked my dermatologist about hair loss and he seemed to think it was nothing to worry about. However for the last few months I've been dropping hairs all throughout the day, a hand through my hair is almost guaranteed to yield on or two hairs and I can pull the odd one out if I try. After the shower the brushing through my hair will leave the brush looking like it has several days worth of hair in it and although the my hair looks pretty unchanged I'm terrified that if this continues for another three/four months I'm going to have serious thinning.Every time I try and look for advice online I end up practically shaking with shock and horror with what I find. Some people saying how they have lost 70% 80% of their hair after years it still has not grown back! I'm 17 male teen, my acne was moderate but now I'm wishing I never took accutane.Please someone help I can't work, sleep, or focus because this is hanging over me. I have thick hair so I can afford to lose some but Jesus Christ I'm considering just shaving it off right now.
