[Sun care] Heavy sun exposure as a child - am I doomed?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
From ages 3-13 or so, I lived in Florida and was outside probably every day of my life. I went to Disney world every weekend, played outside for hours, and my parents never put sunscreen on me once - they owned a chain of tanning salons and didn't believe in sunscreen.Fortunately, I am not a pale person. I tan very deeply, and have never gotten so much as a mild sunburn in my life. I also randomly developed a fear of sunlight at age 14 or so and started avoiding it as much as possible.I'm 19 now and I wear sunscreen daily, leave the house only once a week for groceries, and have all the windows covered with multiple layers so that the house is pitch black. I also started using tretinoin and vitamin c a few months ago.Basically, I'm doing everything I can to make up for my childhood, and I still feel like I'm going to look like I'm 70 at 40. Is there any evidence showing that sun damage can be reversed? Or is the damage just lurking under my skin, waiting to turn into wrinkles and cancer when I get older?
