Beauty Tips For Body Care
So I finished Accutane around two months ago, but my acne is starting to come back. I'm not sure if it's because the Accutane didn't work, or if it's because of my period that came 2 months late (so hormonal acne?). ..But before Accutane, I didn't have hormonal acne; I actually cleared up during my period for some reason.My skin was so clear and pristine and "normal" on Accutane, and seeing these closed comedones and small pimples come back is really disheartening for me. I'm not sure what to do..I'm still not using a lot of skincare. Before Accutane, I was soo excessively oily that Accutane simply reduced me to a "normal" skin type, not excessively dry like many people report. I did have very dry lips, though.Now I'm starting to get oily again, but my derm told me not to use any harsh skincare, so I've just been using a moisturizing cream cleanser with my Clarisonic everyday. Since my acne has started to crop back up, I've been using tea trea oil to dab at my forehead as well, but it doesn't seem to be getting any better.Please help. I'm really stressed. I almost want to be on Accutane forever if it's going to give me such low-maintenance yet high-quality skin.EDIT: To add onto that, what I think I did wrong to cause such an early relapse is the fact that I kept going on and off of it affected how well it worked. I kept getting sick, and my mom, who is really suspicious of any drugs I'm on, kept withholding it from me for a couple weeks whenever I got sick because she was worried it was impeding my recovery.But now I still don't know what to do. I'm pretty sad about it all.Should I ask for another course? Wait it out to see if it's hormonal? More skincare?
