[Acne] How can you tell an icepick scar will form?

I painful and large pimple on my lip that I popped. A few days later I see what I think is still part of the pimple so I pop it and out comes a little thick "ball" of who knows what. Afterwards there's a small dent. I'm mentally preparring myself to realize it's going to become an ice pick scar. eye roll
