[Hair Removal] I got my brows and lip waxed while on Adapalene- Big mistake!! Pieces of skin ripped off as a result. Did anybody have a similar experinece and what did you do to prevent scarring?

Hi Reddit, so I messed up BiG TIME. I've been on Differin for about a month. Yesterday I got my lip and brows waxed. I went to the salon I usually go to and never had any issues but this time different lady took care of me... and she wasn't very gentle. It hurt more than usual and the area was more reddend than usual. It wasn't until yesterday evening that I noticed plasma/lymph leaking and it hurt every time I tried to put on a cream. I'm relatively new to the Retinoid routine. Somehow it just escaped my attention/mind that wax and retinoids are a no no. I know what happened to me is 95% my fault and 5% the lady that literally yanked the strips off of my face with all her might. I'm putting A&D ointment on it for now. No topical antibiotic as there's no sign of infection and I also don't want to use antibiotics unless absolutely necessary. I'm just concerned about the possibility of those patches becoming scars.
