[Product Question] Does cerave hydrating cleanser burn/sting anyone else's face, and ingredient(s) did you find responsible?

I recently started using the cerave hysrating cleanser (I switched from cetaphil because the ingredients looked much more impressive), but I've found that on most days, I get a burning or stinging sensation from it. I thought this was supposed to be so gentle people felt like it wasn't doing anything, so I'm really confused as to why I'm having this reaction. Wondering if anyone else had experienced this, and if so, if you'd figured out why.
