[review] The Ordinary's 30% AHA and 2% BHA peeling solution

Beauty Tips For Body Care
today I tried this product out for the first time and wanted to share my experience and thoughts for anyone who might be interested in trying it. i plan to make a more thorough review (w/ pics) in the near future.here is the company's info. here is its' few reviews on makeup alley. and here is the beautypedia/paula's choice review.as you can see on the makeup alley link, the product comes in a bottle with a dropper. it's a thin raspberry colored liquid. my skin type- fair, sensitive, reactive, dry/dehydration-prone. previously prone to mild/moderate acne but nowadays just the random clogged pore. wanting to address old sun damage as can be seen through some freckles and minor pinkness (as compared to my much paler neck).i poured a couple drops into my palm and applied it with my fingers to my cleaned/dried face, avoiding my eye area. it was visibly raspberry-colored on my face, which was actually helpful in seeing where it was applied. (when done applying i washed my hands clean with water and a little cleanser and it rinsed off easily). i felt some very slight tingling but nothing painful. i let it sit for 8 minutes and washed it off with mild water and a tiny bit of cleanser to ensure full removal. i felt a touch of stinging upon washing but still nothing painful. skin appeared soft and bright without any signs of irritation.for now, my face appears extra glowy as if i've just had a facial, and more even-toned in comparison with neck. am expecting more dramatic results with continued use. plan to use maybe ~2x a month to leave room for healing and other actives.edit to add: while my skin isn't irritated, it does feel extra sensitive a few hours later. i can tell i got a strong exfoliation earlier. so just a reminder/warning to use as directed and go easy on skin after!overall happy with this purchase due to ease of use, fair price, and lack of irritation. hope that's helpful!
