[Routine Help] Brand new to skincare and don't want my face to burn off - help?!

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hey everyone So I'll preface by saying I'm almost 28 and have washed my face like..10 times in the last 10 years. I basically just use a makeup wipe from Costco on my face at the end of the day and that's pretty much it. That's probably very upsetting to hear, I realize lol. Anyway, I thought I should probably be a little more proactive in regards to my skin and decided to make an order off The Ordinary the other day because a) cheap b) that's it. If I don't like the stuff or can't get into the routine of skincare at least I didn't blow $500 buying stuff from Sephora. I tried to do some research before hand but y'all are hella technical and science-y and I felt very overwhelmed. I think my skin is combo. I have some dry spots on chin/forehead/cheeks but my t-zone gets fairly oily. I feel like a loser because I'm genuinely not even sure of my skin type lol. I ended up buying: Retinol 1% Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Lactic Acid 5% + HA 2% Buffet Basically my question is, how do I go about putting these things on my face? Cotton pads or my fingers or..? And how do I use them without my skin burning off? Literally any advice at this point is awesome because I am clueless but ain't trying to age. You guys are all smart and beautiful and I just wanna be like you! lol
