[Skin Concerns] Does anyone know what this inflammation could be? Doctor didn't know what it was. Had mild Keratosis Pilaris prior to this inflammation.

First post here, so apologies if the link and anything else doesn't work! Over the past week the skin on my cheeks has become really inflamed, super sore and itchy, and looks like this.I had some mild KP on my jaw area before it got all inflamed. I'm going to get a derm appointment next week, but I was just wondering if anyone has seen this before and knows what it might be?Thanks!
