[PSA] EltaMD has removed Amazon.com from their unauthorized reseller list. What does this mean?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
A few months ago I asked customer service if Amazon was knowingly selling counterfeit EltaMD products and showed them the list of unauthorized resellers - which at the time listed Amazon.com.I phrased my question that way because Amazon sells EltaMD's products as "shipped and sold directly through Amazon.com" meaning they're selling it themselves and not a third party seller using Amazon. I was told they would look into the matter and never heard back. I then noticed the UV Clear Spf 46 along with a few other EltaMD products were pulled off and only available through third party sellers for quite some time. Now I don't know if this is just coincidental or if my inquiry had anything influence but the revised EltaMD list of unauthorized resellers that was updated last month no longer lists Amazon.com. That being said, EltaMD also removed their list of authorized online resellers so I can't confirm if Amazon is now authorized. If you go on Amazon you'll see Amazon.com ships and sells EltaMD's UV Clear SPF 46 with Prime shipping. It is still available through two third party resellers on Amazon but their home websites claim to be authorized resellers of all products they sell and I remember seeing them on EltaMD's online authorized reseller list before it was taken down. I'm sure they would've been shut down by now - they're well known skincare websites (LovelySkin.com & BeautifiedYou.com).The only way to truly confirm is when customer service rep from EltaMD responds to my email. Until then nothing's confined so please take all this information with a grain of salt if you decide to purchase through Amazon. If it turns out I'm wrong then I apologize for the wall of text :)
