READ ON.My fiance is a zit-picker.He had a zit on his forehead, and as foretold in the prophecy, picked it.Then it came back, angry as hell. Pyogenic granulomas are fun as they are (a) not pyogenic (related to pus) and (b) not granulomas (a type of immune system reaction involving your white blood cells, which is not directly visible to the naked eye). They are a type of capillary tumour called a hemangioma, and are benign. They also tend to bleed if you look at it funny, but this is not always true.How did his zit-picking cause a pyogenic granuloma? They can form at the site of minor injuries due to overeager healing response. So the zit picking caused the 'minor trauma' needed; his body overreacted and over-produced vascular cells; a tumour formed. They can go away on their own, but sometimes need to be surgically removed.They are also known as the "pregnancy tumour" due to prevalence during pregnancy. WHO KNEW.tl;dr don't pick your zits; also make lots of jokes about your (male) fiance's pregnancy if he gets a pyogenic granuloma.
