[Skin Concern] Wearing hats, is your skin still vulnerable?

Hi yall, I have sensitive skin and honestly cant wear ss everyday (please dont try to rec SS, b/c I have tried them all and my derm has seen my reactions to various SS and at this point she also says just wear SS when your out at the beach/park etc) I do wear it when I am out for very long periods. But I always go out during the time periods when UV is low, morning and sunset and if I go out during the afternoon, I always wear a hat!this hat, covers practically the whole perimeter of my face, it is marked as UBF 50.What I am wondering if how does the UBF scale work, is it as good as wearing SS? I wear that hat almost everywhere, its attached to me...and I hope it is helping prevent future skin damage etc.
