[Misc] what do you get(the pros) from a more expensive cleanser? Why is cleansing with a cleanser better than just water?

Genuinely curious as I cleanse with water atm cause I've had a pretty difficult time finding a suitable cleanser. I am debating if it is worth trying another cleanser again.Edit: To clarify, the first question is the pros of using a more/most expensive cleanser over a $10-20 one. The second question is using a cleanser over just washing your face with water, assuming you don't need a cleanser to remove makeup or unrealistic amount of dirt.
