Beauty Tips For Body Care
I have done a lot of google searching, and nothing is really forthcoming. The best I can do is use LotionCrafter to see if the storage instructions contain anything about light.Paula's Choice just says "antioxidants" are light-sensitive, and tends to be inconsistent about how it punishes clear packaging on Beautypedia. Niacinamide is an antioxidant, yet I'm pretty sure it's not light-sensitive.Some ingredients I know for sure are light sensitive, like retinoids and vitamin c. Others I know are not, like niacinamide, from LotionCrafters (they specify nothing about light/heat conditions for storage). Certain others, like licorice, are specified as needing light protection in LotionCrafters-- but there are products all over the place with licorice in them that have clear packaging. And there is a lot of skincare out there with clear packaging, to the degree I'm wondering if I'm missing something about the way light sensitivity works. For instance, I was ecstatic over the I'm from Ginseng serum until I saw that it has clear packaging and green tea in it, which I'm almost certain is light sensitive. Ginseng might be too-- I have no idea.Any help would be much appreciated! I think we can all benefit from knowing when packaging should be opaque.(I may x-post to the AB daily question thread later)
