Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hello beautiful people! Hope everyone is doing well. My name is Milkpanda and with the mod’s permission, I want to share my vision about /r/AdvancedAsianBeauty that I have created recently. For a while now, I have always wanted to build a home for more advanced/experienced/veteran users of Asian Beauty cosmetics. /r/AdvancedAsianBeauty is a self-proclaimed sister subreddit that wishes to work in conjunction with the AB subreddit /r/AsianBeauty and to build a bridge between both new and experienced users.By advanced users, we do not mean that you must have used AB products for 10+ years. An advanced user is defined as someone who can conduct their own research about a product before asking for help. We all know how easy a Google search can be and we hope that we can add value to everyone’s time by asking or answering questions effectively. There are so many helpful guides on the Internet that has valuable information such as what is the 10-step routine and what are recommended products for each step in the routine. We do not mind questions that specifically asks for one step of the routine with a short skin type information. However, we wish to refrain questions that asks us to give you the “best products for a 10 step routine” for example. Theoretically, what works for one person may not work for someone else. A Holy Grail product can be effective for the masses, but there could always be a small minority that may share a different opinion towards it, which is completely normal. Everyone has a different skin type or skin concern, living environment, allergies to products, and price point at which you’re willing to spend on a product.About our sub: Our subreddit is 55% modeled from /r/AB with 45% of our own content and twists. Our new content and daily discussions: Makeup Monday (all AB makeup discussion), Follow Me Friday (all AB social media discussion), Finished Friday (1 Empty-1 New product discussion), Stop-or-Shop Saturday (persuade someone to get an item in their shopping cart or tell them not to), Scientific Saturday (a Mini Holy Grail thread that’s revolved around ingredients instead of products and formulations of products). In addition, we also have our own Surprise Sunday discussion. Every week, the discussion question will be different. We have a Suggestion Sunday discussion where any user can post a potential discussion question and it may be randomly selected for the following Surprise Sunday question. If your question is not selected, you are always able to post it as your own Discussion in the sub at any time. If no one posts any suggestions, then the Mods will create a random Discussion topic. We have 2 designated days where you can self-promote your own social media as long as you follow the rules indicated in the Discussion and the Subreddit rules. We have 3 Main Types of Posts: Discussion, Review, and PSAs.With that said, we welcome everyone from all ethnicity to join us. You do not have to be Asian to join as we strongly believe in diversity. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to leave a comment below! Thank you for taking your time to read about our subreddit and we hope that you can take a look in our subreddit even though we just launched it! 😊
