Beauty Tips For Body Care
Pictures : https://imgur.com/a/FHSIfLong time lurker finally giving up and asking for help.I've had skin picking problems my whole life. Usually it was acne, but now that I take birth control my face is fairly clear. Now the most picking I fight with is shaving, specifically on my thighs.I considered posting this to /r/compulsiveskinpickers, but I want to tackle the underlying problem first, which is the bumps that appear after I shave. In terms of my skin, it's fairly oily and it is extremely sensitive. I have bad reactions to a lot of products, and I have very pale skin, so scars are very obviousWhen I shave it's usually in the shower, and I use gillette Venus disposable sensitive shavers, with any sensitive shaving cream I can find at the store. I use non perfume equate lotion afterwardsThe biggest issue I have is that after I shave, I get large blisterlike bumps on my hair folicles, like a razorburn. Usually after that, whenever I get nervous or I feel them, I pop them with my forefinger and thumb. Usually it'll pop and some clear fluid will come out.Afterwards they get very red and painful, they grow scabs, I either pick the scabs off or they fade away, but this dark, faded blueish mark remains. When i take photos of them, I see tiny thin hairs underneath, so I think they're ingrown hair. I also have very thick hair because I have PCOS, and it grows back very thickly each time I dig in there and pluck them out.People tell me to just leave them alone, but I've had these two marks on my thighs for months now. They never fade.I'm not sure what else to add, but any tips or ideas as to what I can do to keep those pimples from appearing in the first place is greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!
