[review] Kudos to Yes to Cucumbers

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I've got pretty damn sensitive skin... I've tried all sorts of things-- OCM with EVOO, coconut oil, evening primrose oil, CeraVe, Stridex, benzoyl peroxide, clindamycin, and a bunch of other prescription-grade treatments for acne over the course of 10 years.I bought Yes to Cucumbers on a whim since I've got pretty sensitive skin... I've been using it for a couple of months, and I can't believe what's happened to me (coming from someone who has been skeptical for literally 10 years with stubborn cystic acne). My skin hasn't been this calm since as long as I can remember. The nice thing is though my budget is very limited, even though the price of YtC has been a little high, I barely need to use any and my skin has been really calm in comparison to what it used to be. For the most part, even the most "gentle" of moisturizers and washes used to feel like acid and burning on my skin, so I lost a lot of hope for a long time.I unfortunately don't have any before + after pictures because I felt so self-conscious I'd delete pretty much every picture of me. Though my skin is pretty scarred due to pigmentation and whatnot, I haven't had almost any active breakouts in months. I occasionally get a few pimples around my period but I used to get breakouts that honestly would have called for something like Accutane, though I was too scared to go that route due to side effects. Considering I've had nearly unmanageable cystic acne for 10 years, this is a goddamn miracle.Of course I won't say this product will work for everyone, but I simply just want to express my thankfulness for this, as I did not expect it at all.Current routine: In shower, use Neutrogena's sensitive skin oil-free acne wash. Put on Yes to Cucumbers. Wear almost no make-up. Come home, wash face with Dove's sensitive skin bar, put on more Yes to Cucumbers. Sleep. I've changed nothing else. My diet is mostly crap so that's another reason why I attribute my miracle progress to this.My lesson here is even if YtC doesn't work for you, if you've got sensitive skin, try to find something that is as gentle and anti-inflammatory as possible. Treat your skin with love. <3 Good luck to all of you.
