Beauty Tips For Body Care
LRP released a new product called the 'Anthelios Anti-Shine Sunscreen Mist' (only available in Europe and Asia bc Mexoryl isn't FDA-approved) sometime back in April. Many shy away from sunscreen sprays/mists because they are believed to provide sub-par protection when compared to a regular cream or lotion, as the spray/mist can leave gaps in protection if you don't rub it in.Apparently the new face mist from LRP contains a film-forming agent called 'Nylon 12'. What happens is when you spray it on your face, the polymer binds and sets the product into a uniform film over your face, eliminating the need for you to pat/rub it in. Nylon-12 is flexible enough to move when your face creases up eg: when you're making a facial expression, which prevents the film from being disrupted or broken up. There are also other film-forming agents in the ingredients list, like Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer and various other silicones and polymers. LRP released a video with application instructions as well as a UV camera shot. It seems pretty convincing. While I'm not 100% convinced yet, if the product actually works as intended, it could be revolutionary - especially for people who are lazy and pressed for time, or for people who hate the feeling of traditional sunscreen on their faces. A PPD rating of 30 for a sunscreen mist is frankly unmatched, and the 'anti-shine' aka mattifying abilities make it a god-sent for oily skinned people. I might try this once I exhaust my current traditional sunscreen. Has anyone on here tried this mist yet?
