So i cant really go to an actual doctor or a derm atm so i went to a minute clinic. They were really good. So I probably have hormonal acne. I have cystics and regular along the jaw chin and lower cheeks. After the usual questions and explaining. They said i might have pcos. Which i was kinda worried about having it after reading about it. I dont remember exactly what the actual name they prescribed to me. But my insurance didnt cover it and it was 125$ a box. But the doctor said to combine the ingredients yourself to make a dupe kinda. Which was really nice of them since usually its just that and your on your way. Its basically .1%adapalene (diffren) and 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. Mixed together. They also gave me the regular oral doxycline for 2months. I was able to get the adapalene for 10$ instead of 30$. I mix pea size amounts in my hand before putting it on my face. And then they recommend cereve moisturizer. Im sure you can use any benzoyl but i got the advance acne therapy by skin+pharmacy. I hope this works out for me. I know after the pills are gone itll probably come back but maybe ill have a derm.
