Beauty Tips For Body Care
In response to the Allure decision to no longer use the term "anti-aging", the website Byrdie released an article discussing the impacts.Article: Is the Phrase "Anti-Aging" Actually Problematic?Reddit thread on the Allure News: Here I thought it was interesting to see another perspective from a company that does close to what Allure does (beauty and lifestyle articles). The article expands a little into what some impacts could be in the beauty industry and what the phrase means to a couple older women (the article is written by a women in her twenties). The article also sites a New York Times article from 2007 by Natasha Singer entitled The Talk; Defy Another Day that also talks about the term. It's maybe a little click bait-y as I'm sure this is popping up everywhere right now, but I still thought it was interesting to see the perspective of a couple people who work in the industry and are exposed to all the benefits, expectations, and stresses that would come with that job.
