Beauty Tips For Body Care
Helloooooo fellow SCA community! Similar to many of you, I have done the whole trial/error process to find a good skincare routine countless times. Its tiring, frustrating, and expensive. Throughout the process (I "started" when I was 15, but that was using extremely harsh acne products in a desperate attempt to dry my face into oblivion to remove any acne/pimples -- I am now 21F) I have tried seemingly everything. However, I believe I have found what works for me, and I thought I would share to offer some smiles, hopes, and a possible route for others to take.** I usually suffer from "period"/hormonal acne, and the occasional pimple inside my nose (??????). My skin needs lots of moisture and is LOVING this routine I have going on. Feel free to ask any questions or point out if i forgot to mention something **CURRENT ROUTINEMORNING -wash face with warm water (damp washcloth and dry with dry washcloth) -one pump acure marula oil -use a few squeezes of Supergoop CC creamNIGHT -cover my face with vasline when i am in the shower and remove it with a washcloth while I am in there to remove CC cream -once out of shower, cover shisheido cotton square with Bioderma sensibio micellar water and remove remainder of cc cream -take a damp (warm) washcloth and wet face to remove any remnants of the micellar water then dry face -one or two pumps of acure marula oil depending on how much i have left TBH -LIGHT layer of vaseline on face -spot treatment (if necessary) with CLEAN & CLEAR® ADVANTAGE® Acne Spot Treatment that is 2% salicylic acid -Glossier original balm.com on lips (THIS STUFF IS INCREDIBLE!!!!!)I do that routine in conjunction with: - NO PICKING (This is huge, you guys. I know how difficult it is, but it really is a game changer imo.) -Taking fish oil, zinc, lysine, and vit c vitamins every night before i go to sleep -drinking lots of waterI am not sure if this is going to be read by many, but hopefully it can offer some hope or guidance or whatever to some of you. I went through phases where I was using so many products, but I have really noticed how wonderfully my skin is reacting/has reacted to a simpler route that doesnt overwhelm my skin....or my wallet ;)XOXOPS - I recently bought some Glossier products to try (due to the clear skin) and will review those once I have received them and had ample time to try them. I ordered the milky jelly cleanser, priming moisturizer, skin tint, and stretch concealer. Stay tuned..
