[Product Question] Is there anything inherently bad about using low quality skincare products if your skin looks/feels fine?

A lot of my friends use products from brands like Clean & Clear, Neutrogena, Biore, Clearasil, and other cheaper and/or lower quality brands like that which are usually not popular on this sub.Is the main reason people don't like these because they tend to cause breakouts, dryness, etc. or is there something inherently bad about products like this?I'm not trying to criticize, I'm just genuinely wondering.Edit: I'm not wondering if every cheap product is low quality. I'm wondering if low quality products are bad for someone even if their skin doesn't react noticeably poorly to them
