Just want to put out a PSA on how to remove stubborn yellow or brownish sunscreen stains from light-colored shirts. Recently I realized that it was my sunscreen, not sweat, staining the collars of a few of my shirts. Apparently especially avobenzone is known to do this and typical stain-fighters like Oxi-clean just make it worse by setting in the stain permanently (learned this the hard way).The secret: Bar Keeper's Friend All-Purpose Soft Cleanser (the liquid). Basically, wet the shirt and apply to the stain and let it soak like 10 minutes. Rinse and repeat without using any other products or drying the shirt until the stain comes out.BKF isn't really meant for laundry but it didn't harm any of the shirts I used it on (including a really nice linen shirt) and I just sent it through an extra rinse cycle in the wash and it didn't irritate my skin at all.
