[Review] Professional microdermabrasion treatment

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I don't know if anyone would be interested in this, but I had professional microdermabrasion done and I thought I'd write up the experience for you guys.So I did it at a small local parlour/salon near my home in Greater London, at a cost of £45. It used to be £40 but they increased their prices last year. They offered a deluxe facial version for £55, but I refused that one.The aesthetician started by cleansing my skin with a gentle cleanser which lathered into creamy sort of consistency; she did a brief gentle massage as part of the cleanse. The microdermabrasion itself is basically her using her machine to scrape all over the face. That sounds harsh, but it doesn't hurt at all, it just feels like it should, if it that makes sense. Sensation is a little stronger near the upper cheekbone area but no actual pain. She even does the under eye skin, changing the settings before she does so. Again, doesn't hurt at all, just feels a bit weird, like it should hurt. She did the face and the neck, extracted a few blackheads she met on the way, but thorough extractions aren't part of the treatment. She then followed up with a soothing, cooling mask, left me alone to chill for 15-20 minutes and then returned and peeled it off, with no tugging felt at all. I love this mask. Has a really interesting smell to it. She said it's oatmeal based, made me really interested in oatmeal masks, lol.She asked me if I wanted sunblock after and I said yes, but then it started tingling at a spot on my right cheek, near my nose, so she wiped it off. She said that suncream is really gentle, even ok for children, so idk what that was about. It was red when I checked the mirror, but calmed down pretty quickly. Results! Skin stayed a bit red in the places where the suncream stung but otherwise nothing major happens the first day, as the skin calms down. The next day: hot damn! My skin is glowing and looks extremely even toned and bright. It even looks more hydrated, and I'd been having really dry skin issues. My pores are tighter. I had some stubborn PIE, pretty light but not fading, just flaring up a bit, then getting faint, then flaring up again, for months. It's almost completely gone.As always, YMMV, but I'm pretty thrilled. I'd love to do this shit every 6 months or so. More if I were rich, lol. Hope that helped someone![Edit: small spelling/formatting errors]
