[acne] Acne doesn't go away until I push hardened pimple material out of my face

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Since finding this sub I have made a decent amount of progress against my acne. The biggest lesson I learned is that when you pick at your face all day every day you are doing traumatic damage to your skin. I also learned that harsh abrasives like the st Ives scrubs I was using were probably counter productive. It was eye opening to say the least but I learned that it's probably the best idea to be nice and gentle to your skin at all times. This stuff alone has helped tremendously. I stopped picking at my face probably by 90 percent or so. The problem that I'm coming across though is that it's basically impossible to completely leave my face alone and not pick because a lot of my acne just literally won't go away until I remove the pimple material. I'm not certain what type of acne I have but the longer I leave a bump alone the harder the pimple material becomes and eventually it has to come out. Only after these hardened pimples come out can the bumps begin to heal. I've left them alone for days and they just sit there. I've lanced them and used cosrx bandaids and hoped they'd drain. They dont. They sit there under the skin pushing up a little pimple tent until basically I can't handle it anymore then I Lance and push the pimple material out of my face. How do you handle this? Basically my pimples aren't going anywhere unless I pop them.I am currently using Cera ve foaming facial cleanser in the morning and at night. I have tried off and on using stridex extra strength pads but they dry my face out a lot. I have tried both Cera ve and Cetaphil moisturizers. I have a suspicion that they might exacerbate my breakouts but I can't confirm that really because I haven't been doing this for long enough to know what is affecting my acne and what isn't.Any advice?
