Beauty Tips For Body Care
It's been a long time since I posted, and that's mainly because I have been experimenting with dietary causes of acne rather than products. A few years ago I posted about how I was cyst free. I thought it was because of the products I used but it turned out to be almost entirely tied to my diet. I was calorie counting and eating a high-protein diet when my acne cleared up, but I didn't think that it was connected with my skin problems (or lack thereof). Since then I've gone off of high protein, back on high protein, and now I'm doing low glycemic which seems to be the key to everything. I have strict rules about sugar consumption and avoid white carbs.... But I still change my pillowcases frequently, wear sunscreen every day, and use cerave pm (hg shout out). It's not that I think the products and information aren't important, but I've found a lot of success by changing my diet and I think it's worth a shot. I still use tretinoin, but it doesn't completely eliminate my cysts and a higher concentration makes my skin too dry.I hope this is helpful to someone. :)Routine AM: cerave hydrating cleanser, cerave pm, nivea sunscreen PM: cerave hydrating cleanser, tretinoin 0.05%, cerave pm
