I've done it all my life and as long as there is a white center the result has always been a tiny scab the next day. Not once have I pushed the pus further into the skin and spread the infection which I honestly think is a myth.The times I did leave a pimple alone it took ages to go away and the PIH was much worse. I mean there are things you shouldnt even attempt to pop like cystic acne but if there is a clear white head than I will pop it and I have yet to get scarring from it
