Beauty Tips For Body Care
As this weekend was the start of the Sephora VIB sale, I headed in Friday afternoon to pick up a few things (mostly skincare) that I've had my eye on. Among those things was the Clinique Moisture Surge mask. Long story short, the mask made my skin tingle and burn mildly so I washed it off ASAP and returned it this afternoon. While at the register, a Sephora girl was trying to convince me of a bunch of stuff I don't think I believe. First she tried to tell me that Clinique formulates their products for you to only use them with each other, so my skin didn't like it because I use other brands of skincare. Then she tried to say (just by looking at my skin) that it was moisturized enough and I didn't need overnight masks in my routine because overhydration is a thing and my skin was rejecting the mask for that reason. I didn't wanna get into some super long discussion with her about it, so she has no idea that my skin is only as moisturized as it is because I "overhydrate". Finally, she ended her spiel with recommending a facial steamer because she's an aesthetician and uses one on all of her clients. I've tried one of these before and all it did was dry my skin out lol.I'm no skincare expert, and I don't wanna seem like I'm knocking what she knows, but I just don't agree with anything she said. So I guess I'm posting this to see if any of you guys believe in any of the points she brought up. What are your thoughts?**edited to fix formatting
