Beauty Tips For Body Care
You guys. YOU GUYSAt 22 I started getting milia on my cheeks. Nothing took them down, I've spent thousands on all manner of treatments, actives and prescriptions. Extracting resulted in the hard little keratin plugs you'd expect, but over time there were just too many. They kept coming. Milia on top of milia. Hundreds. At 36, devastated, extracting a few really bad ones every single day, I was losing the battle. This is the first pic.I lurked SCA last year, and hit the actives hard. But I had a literal sheild of keratin on my face and nothing was working. After differin failed I dove in and started on tret .1%. Something? After four months the rest of my face looked good but the milia remained. I figured it was as good as it was going to get, as of last week This is the second pic.Last week I came across another user asking about whether FA resulted in "plugs" and thought fuck it, let's see. I grabbed some nizoral at the grocery store two days ago. I've used it twice. Two times. My skin is smooth this morning. The milia have receded about 60% and the texture is smooth. Picture three. I have smooth cheeks. Fucking smooth. Tears come just typing that out. I thought this was a life sentence.I didn't have any redness, I'd been diagnosed with KP, it wasn't on my hairline, and it wasn't in little clusters. But it was fungal. I'm putting these pictures up because I can't be the only one fighting this battle.🧡🧡 Thank you to the knowledgable, caring people in this sub who took the time to answer my questions and share their experiences. I can't tell you what it means to wake up like this after 15 years of struggling with the pain of extractions and the self esteem issues that came with all of this. This sub has literally changed my life.I have smooth cheeks!
