[Review] Empties - Biore Sunscreen, Laneige Eye Serum, Body Shop Drops of Youth, etc

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to post an image - so here it is!https://imgur.com/a/Iciem1dSome background: My skin is combo/sensitive/acne prone. I tend to break out from 60% of the products I try. Let's begin!...Left to right:BiorĂ© UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence Sunscreen SPF 50+⭐⭐⭐out of 5 starsLightweight.Non Greasy.Hardly any white cast.Smells like sunscreen.I use facial oils in the morning, and this applied pretty well on top of it.I also use concealer/foundation, and my makeup application comes out pretty evenly.I notice that my acne scars are a bit lighter after I remove my makeup in the evening, compared to when I don't use sunscreen.I remember it being a bit expensive (can't remember how much I paid for it), and I don't think I'll repurchase purely because I'd like to try other brands. (Like Etude House's Sunprise!)The reason why I rate it 3 out of 5 stars is because I'm not sure if this sunscreen caused me to break out even more when I was having active acne. I stopped using this for a while until my acne calmed down, and then I reintroduced it back to my routine.-----Laneige Time Freeze Eye Serum (sample)⭐⭐⭐⭐out of 5 starsMilky colour, the consistency is between light and thick.Doesn't absorb super well, takes a lot of tapping.VERY strong perfume.I had a lot of weird texture and bumps around my eye area, and I haven't been able to get rid of them / smoothen out the texture for the longest time. Then I got this sample and used it every evening for about three days, and I immediately saw the difference! My skin was a LOT smoother and the bumps disappeared. The only off putting factor for me was the perfume. Will definitely buy the life sized one unless I find a better one with no fragrance!-----Banila Clean it Zero Purity for Sensitive Skin⭐⭐⭐⭐out of 5 starsIt comes with a spatula to scoop out the product. It's a balm, so it's like putting some solid coconut oil into your fingertips. It becomes liquid fairly quickly. No fragrance.I use this to remove traces of my make up (I use some micellar water first), and I wash it off with water. My eyelids/eyelashes always felt oily after, no matter how much I rinse. Would need to remove residue with some micellar water, if not it will irritate my eyes.Pretty straightforward, does what it says, doesn't break me out! Will repurchase, unless I find a cheaper dupe!-----Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐out of 5 starsI love this so much, just putting it out there T__TIt came with 2 muslin cloths.Delicate floral scent, I thought it was rather soothing.Super gentle, and super hydrating. You basically pump some into your hand, rub/massage it all around your face, dampen your cloth and and wipe it off.I bought this for £15, which I thought was pretty affordable since it lasted me for a very long time (a little bit goes a long way). The lady at the store mentioned that it's supposed to be a makeup remover + cleanser, but I still remove my make up with some micellar water prior. It has a thick cream consistency, but when you rub it all over your face, you will inevitably go "aaaaaah. I love this."Great for acne prone skin! I was having some active acne when I started using this, and my skin loved it (i.e it didn't trigger any new acne, no irritation, I was so surprised at how well behaved my skin was)Will definitely repurchase.-----Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay Purifying Pink Clay Mask⭐⭐out of 5 starsPink Clay Mask. You don't get a lot of product, which was disappointing.Paid £40. Not worth the price point at all.Didn't irritate my skin, I had a "clean" feeling after the mask, but it's forgettable.I think it's a good clay mask, but not as good as advertised. Overly hyped and overly priced. Save your $! Will not repurchase.-----The Body Shop Drops Of Youth Fresh Emulsion SPF20 PA+++ (I removed the sticker)⭐⭐⭐out of 5 starsVery lightweight.Absorbs very quickly.Smells like sunscreen.Make up applies quite evenly on top of it.I used it as a day time moisturizer, even though it's an emulsion. It's quite straightforward, but won't repurchase because I would like to slather something more moisturizing in the morning! However, I like that it has SPF in it as well.-----The Body Shop Drops Of Youth Serum Concentrate⭐⭐⭐⭐out of 5 starsBeen using this for more than 2 years now, this is probably my 4th-5th bottle, I've lost count!Thick consistency, has a delicate smell to it.Absorbs into the skin rather well.Calmed my acne, didn't trigger any new ones. This was the first product I used that did NOT break me out, so it was my HG when I started using it!But when I moved away from it, my skin broke out again (this was during my active acne stage). Immediately calmed my skin down when I started using it again.4 stars out of 5 because: aside from all the above points, I'm not sure how it actually benefits my skin, if I'm dreadfully honest. (e.g fading acne scars, skin regeneration, etc). However, I feel like my skin is at a much better place now, so maybe it's not so needy for this product anymore. It's £33 for the largest bottle, so it's rather expensive. Would like to find a replacement! If not then I'd probably go on to buy my 6th bottle...-----Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Moisturizer (travel size)⭐⭐⭐⭐out of 5 starsA bit transparent, a bit thick in terms of consistency.Absorbs well, dries down matte. It has a bit of a fragrance, but I'm not sure what it is. It smells a bit like nothing, but a bit like something... chemical-ish?It's a good, affordable lightweight moisturizer. No frills. But will not repurchase because I'd prefer something more moisturizing!-----Sephora Waterproof Makeup Remover⭐⭐out of 5 starsBought this to remove my waterproof mascara.Does what it says, leaves an oil film on my eyelashes. Need to rinse it out with some micellar water.Pricey for the amount of product you get.2 stars because of the price point, but it does what it says! Will not repurchase, will definitely go for something more wallet-friendly.-----WAAM Cosmetics 100% Black Seed Oil⭐⭐⭐⭐out of 5 starsLight smell, a bit like olive oil I think? But different.I used to mix a few drops into my Body Shop Vitamin E moisturizer in the evening, and my skin would be incredibly hydrated.Good for acne prone skin and active acne. It really, really calmed my acne down. It was the first time I saw a difference in my skin.I paid £16 for the bottle and it lasted me a whole year with consistent usage (every day, twice a day). Will repurchase.-----------------------------------Non skin care related, just... by-the-way empties!NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray⭐⭐⭐out of 5 starsThe only setting spray I've ever used, so I don't have anything else to compare it to!I guess it does what it says. Because I use facial oils before I put on my makeup, I didn't want my face to look so dewy. I thought this would help.. it does bring down the dewiness a little bit, but not.. really.A bit confused about this product, tbh. It's cheap, at £7.00.If I were to touch my face / accidentally (lightly) swipe my cheeks with my fingers, product still comes off. I don't know why but I thought setting sprays would help with that.... I guess not! Will not repurchase.-----Dr. Bronner's Peppermint All One Toothpaste⭐⭐out of 5 starsIt doesn't foam.Smells great (strong peppermint).Unfortunately, it didn't feel like it cleaned my teeth well. After finishing the tube I felt that my teeth were a little bit yellow, and I bought a tube of Colgate. Within days my teeth were fairly white again, so......Will not repurchase.-----Grow Gorgeous Hair Growth Serum (I removed the sticker)⭐⭐⭐⭐out of 5 starsHas a strong smell. Smells like men's cologne.Absorbs into the scalp pretty well.Adds volume to your hair (near the roots) when it dries, but it is a tiny bit matte-greasy. It looks matte, but it feels a bit oily, but I'm ok with it.I noticed baby hairs after finishing up one bottle! So that was nice.I don't use it consistently (i.e everyday), only when I'm not lazy.Paid £30, will definitely repurchase.
