[Review] Neutrogena Sheer Zinc SPF 50

Beauty Tips For Body Care
This formula is thick-ish and hard to spread. I find dabbing and patting it around much easier than rubbing. Sometimes I even apply it with a beauty blender. I wish Neutrogena would spend more time perfecting the formula. However, this has a very high percentage of zinc oxide, which is my preferred screen and one of the best, if not the best UV blocker in terms of spectrum of protection, stability, tolerance. It’s not super easy to find an all Physical sun screen with 20+% ZO. I like that this is cheap and easily available.I save this for days when I’m going to be outside in the sun all day. With a fair amount of gentle patting around my face, I can get rid of the white cast. Sometimes I’ll add a drop or two of my liquid foundation to it, and that helps, too. And if I’m on the beach, or hiking or biking, I don’t care about the white cast. I’m past the age where I care what people think when they look at my face during outdoor leisure activities. I want anti aging protection and that’s just more important to me. We just did Eurodisney and it was sunny every day, and we were out all day, every day. This was my finishing step around my eyes and high planes of my face, patted over the top of Neutrogena Sensitive Skin SPF 60. I do prefer the Neutrogena Sensitive Skin SPF 60, the formula is much better, and that and EltaMD UV Physical are my go-tos mostly. Like I said, I save this for those times that literally I will be in the sun all day. And I’m happy with it for that.It has no real smell. I have normal to dry skin and this causes me no problems. I’m not acne prone, however. Mineral screens can be drying, but I’ve been pleased by this one and the Sensitive SPF 60. They don’t suck all of the moisture from my skin. I do ensure that my skin is moisturized before applying, tho.Active ingredientZinc oxide 21.6% (sunscreen).Inactive ingredientsWater, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Styrene/acrylates Copolymer, Octyldodecyl Citrate Crosspolymer, Phenyl Trimethicone, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Dimethicone, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, Glycerin, Ethyl Methicone, Cetyl Dimethicone, Silica, Chrysanthemum Parthenium (Feverfew) Flower/leaf/stem Juice, Glyceryl Behenate, Phenethyl Alcohol, Caprylyl Glycol, Cetyl Dimethicone/bis-vinyldimethicone Crosspolymer, Acrylates/dimethicone Copolymer, Sodium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin.
