Beauty Tips For Body Care
I live in LA where homelessness is a huge issue. Many people lack basic items that can bring them dignity and a sense of normalcy and protection, such as facial cleansers, creams, sunscreens, socks, or women’s hygiene products. My BF was just browsing /r/LosAngeles when he saw a post that was requesting facial cleansers, creams, body cleansers, soaps, shampoos, sunscreens, and lightly used or new makeup for a women’s shelter. He asked if I had anything to donate and I realized I do!Like many people here I have a ton of products that I used once and put down because I have rosacea and everything bothers my skin or because people have purchased me gifts that have ingredients I can’t use on my skin.If this is you, consider donating them to a homeless shelter or a women’s shelter. Most cities have them and all it takes is a call to see what they accept and what state it needs to be in (many products need to be new, especially if they’re combs or deodorants, but some can be lightly used). These things we take for granted can really change a person’s life.
