Beauty Tips For Body Care
So I have been staying with my dad for the past few nights because of some personal reasons. My little brother, who has chronic health issues and comes home from college for treatment every now and again, is also here. He is nineteen, for reference. My brother has dry skin and hormonal acne, and so he and my dad were discussing what to use to heal up the acne. My brother uses this Pacifica kale detox stuff as cleanser (I’m sure my mom got that for him), and my dad says, no joke, “have you tried using soap? You need to use soap.”I burst out the door of my bedroom and am like, “UH NO HE SHOULD NOT USE SOAP ON HIS FACE. Do you want his moisture barrier to shrivel up and die, therefore causing more acne?”My dad told me, “we aren’t talking about skincare for girls or old people like you, we’re talking about hormonal acne.” For reference, I AM 23, DAD, WHO YOU CALLING OLD.(This makes my dad sound like a real dick, he’s not, he’s a wonderful person trust me).I promptly told him that a huge portion of this sub is people with acne-prone skin, and that many of them were men, and SCREW YOU DAD. I then told my brother to slather on some CeraVe moisturizer and please don’t overwash your face for the love of Christ.Anyway that is my story. Don’t want your face with soap, kids.
