[Personal] Calling any/all help. My face itches and hurts to move/look at.. What to do??

Beauty Tips For Body Care
So, just to start off, I have a dermatologist appt in 8 days. My skin is actually not too bad acne wise, but I have really bad Perioral dermatitis. I just found out the other day I had it after looking at pictures and symptoms. For those who don't know; lots of tiny red itchy bumps located under nostrils, and side of nose, and the corners below the mouth. I said I was pretty acne free, but these look like tiny pimples, and some of them are pretty big and turn into pimples. So before I learned about it the other day, I naively thought I just had acne there, so I applied BHA in those spots every day, sometimes benzoyl (and I've had PD for about 2 months, off and on severity. I honestly had no idea I had PD, and the other night I put clindamycin and BP all over the spots, and the next morning I put on BHA. I thought this would cure it, it helped for like an hour, and then the next 2/3 days the spots have gotten dry, flaky, and more red bumps. Lesson learned. So here's where I'm at now: no products at all, no cleanser, moisturizer, no actives, I don't want one of the ingredients to trigger it and make it worse. But my derm appointment is 8 days away, and my confidence is really low right now, my face itches. And after reading a few posts, I saw some ways o could make it better First: High zinc oxide cream (like the diaper rash stuff) on affected spots Second: Antibiotics are usually prescribed to make the PD to go away, which I assume is what my derm will give me. Iwas prescribed 30 doxycycline pills for my acne back in July, so I still have a whole bottle that I never used. I can start now and hopefully make it better, I have all the original doctors notes for it, warnings, and how to take it.So, what should I do? I need to get my skin back to what it was. Should I apply some zinc, wait 8 days and do nothing, or should I take doxycycline? I really need some help right now, thanks.
