Lots of people state that dairy/gluten/sugar/etc breaks them out or give other adverse effects. I’m interested in intermittant fasting and low-carb/keto diets for other health reasons, and while reading up on this the terms «autophagy» comes up a lot. Autophagy is a sort of cell renewal process (very simplistic -google it!) which decreases as we age. It is promoted by fasting and certain diets, and is linked to longevity.It seems this may also have an anti-aging effect on skin. I’m wondering if anyone here has taken an active approach to this and have any experience to share, or interesting papers/videos to recommend?
