[Personal] My acne has completely disappeared since having chemotherapy

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I know this is sort of a weird post/title I just found it really fascinating so I wanted to share.I had chemotherapy from April 18 to October 18.Before chemo I always, alwaysssss had blackheads and these little hard under the skin pimples (I think they're called condones?).I tried every skincare routine under the sun...eventually I landed on one that made my skin about 80% clear, but I only had perfectly clear skin maybe 5 days out of the month. However, since starting/ending chemo my skin has been SPOTLESS. I have some serious dark circles but as far as texture its literally never been better.I'm attributing this to two reasons:1) Chemo dries out your skin. My pores are pretty much nonexistent. I think the chemo sucked out all the oil which was causing me to break out. I compensate for this with a super intense moisturizing cream topped with rose oil at night so my skin is manageable come morning.2) Chemo puts you into a chemical menopause. My ovaries arent producing estrogen anymore. I think this is the biggest reason. It makes me feel a bit better knowing most of my skin issues were probably hormonal and no skincare routine would ever be perfect for this reason. My estrogen should start going back up within the next year so I'm anticipating my skin will go back to how it was, but among all the other horrific side effects (like no hair.. ) having smooth skin for the first time in my adult life has been nice!
