[Acne] If you're able to go to the dermatologist, do it!

Beauty Tips For Body Care
I've been struggling with acne for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was 14 (I'm 21 now), my skin has been one of worst insecurities and I've spent sooooo much money trying to fix it. I scoured this sub, r/AsianBeauty, and others in hopes of finding a miracle. I had been to a GP about my acne before and had been put on minocycline but my acne still wouldn't really budge. Tired of spending money and seeing 0 results, I recently decided to bite the bullet and see a derm back in September of this year.I can safely say that I no longer dread looking into the mirror. My skin is better than I've ever seen it, and I thank clindamycin phosphate for working its magic. Here are some before pictures of before and where my skin is currently at now: (sorry for the so-so quality on the now pics; just trying to showcase how little acne I have!) https://imgur.com/a/eHelsHKMy current routine:AM:Splash face with cold water and apply ROHTO Skin Aqua Super Moisture Milk (SPF 50 PA++++)PM:Take off eye makeup with Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup RemoverCleanse with PanOxyl acne foaming wash (as suggested by my derm)Apply clindamycin phosphate gelBenton Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel (my skin is extremely oily, and this gel moisturizes my face well without it feeling heavy)That's literally it. I've been doing this routine for a solid three months and now I rarely have a bad breakout, except when I skimp out on my routine or my period decides to say hello. If you have the means to see a dermatologist, I highly recommend doing so! I was obsessed with this sub when I was in the midst of finding a way to help my skin, but now I rarely pop in. However, if you have any suggestions on how to lighten PIE, I'd love to see them! PIE and indented scarring are my main concerns now, and hopefully my derm has a solution on how to combat the scarring.
