[routine help] Is it ok to give unsolicited skincare advice to friends? Was I correct in my advice to a friend on her exfoliators?

Beauty Tips For Body Care
Hey there, just looking for advice about how to spread skincare tips without being a jerk. Also if you guys could verify that what I said is correct so I’m not spreading incorrect info that’d be great too.I’m currently in school to become an esthetician and have been personally researching ingredients for a while. I saw a friend giving skincare tips in her insta story that said to use PTR firm+ enzyme peel for 5 min as an exfoliator followed by wearing babyfacial for 20 min as a mask. I privately messaged her and said this:So babyfacial is actually also an exfoliator! PTR is a fruit enzyme exfoliator and babyfacial is AHA/BHA id recommend using each once a week but on separate daysI have two questions:Is it rude to do this? This is the first time I’ve corrected someone, should I not? Is it rude? Would you be hurt if someone did this to you?was I correct in what I said? How would you use these two products?
