So I've been using tretinoin (Retin-A) for about two years now. I love it and I think it has helped my skin a ton, but after reading some other peoples' routines, I'm questioning whether I'm even using it correctly, lol.My PM routine isNeutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily CleanserSCINIC Honey All in One AmpouleTretinoin cream .05%Rosehip and tea tree oilI usually do this with very little to no wait time between products. I was wondering if my skin actually absorbs the retinoid after buffering with such a goopy (snail mucus/honey) moisturizer? Reading other people's retinoid routines, I saw that many applied their retinoid, waited 20 min, then finished their routine. Is this more effective in the long run or should I just stick to what's currently working for me? I'm starting to worry that I've been using this product for years incorrectly and my skin hasn't been getting maximum retinoid benefits
